I got an iPhone 7 for my grandson on contract with my home telephone supplier, the phone is separating and apple have told me I need a new battery, but because the phone is bulging in one area it has cracked the screen. I am happy to pay for the battery to be replaced but they want to charge me £152.44 to replace the screen which was cracked because of battery, the phone is just over one year old. I have been told the battery's failing in iPhones are common,

I was asking if anyone had the same battery problem. I contacted the support department.
Batteries failing in ANY small electronics are common, but if they do so outside of your warranty they are not covered. By any small electronics manufacturer.
