“macOS Catalina” could not be verified

what can I do? I don’t understand why is not working, I already tried several times... any ideas?

So what is the issue...


It does not download?

It downloads but you can not launch or install?


Is this a fresh copy of the installer or an old copy?



Did you try again(?) Delete the installer from the Applications folder "Install macOS Catalina.app" and empty the trash then try again.


I would advise to reboot into SafeBoot Mode and re-download the installer and launch the installer from this same SafeBoot mode —Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Login and proceed:

—A "could not be verified" is often an outdated installer


—A corrupt download is often a function of a slow or suspect Network download speed.

You can try a faster Network,

you can try moving closer to the router,

you can try a cabled Ethernet connection bypassing wireless
