I changed the apple id on MBP from my daugthers apple id. I am only able to see her photos now on the Macbook and cannot find mine. Also the contacts came over incorrectly as only a few came over. How do I erase her photos and bring mine over to the laptop?
I did check mark the photos in the icloud screen and icloud photos are checked on my phone.

I don't quite get the big picture here?
Did you change user accounts(?), this would be the way to see your user and all associated files including your photos
