Activation lock

So I have my old iPhone 5c from some years ago and the person tht had me on their account I can’t get in contact with them so tht I can get into my iPhone because of the activation lock is there a way anyone could help cause I don’t remember the Apple ID or password I used for this phone

Only the person whose Apple ID has the phone on Activation Lock can release the phone.


If you have the original sales receipt with the phone's serial number that prove's you are the owner, Apple may be able to assist you.

Under your circumstances, you will be unable to answer the security questions related to the forgotten Apple ID/Password. So see Security and your Apple ID https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201303

 

This document says “without proof of your identity via security questions and other carefully selected criteria, Apple Support can't help you reset a password or perform any other actions on your account.”

 

Thus, we can do nothing to help you given that you can't answer the pertinent security questions successfully, except to mention that Apple support might help you if you have an extenuating circumstance (e.g., you have the receipt for your purchase of the device with its serial number on it).
