Hello, I have a crying emoji on my desktop that cannot be deleted. It only shows on the desktop and does not appear on screenshots. I have also tried to highlight and then delete to no avail. Please has anyone ever experienced this situation or can offer some advice?

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Login and see if from here you can do some house cleaning
