I know you can only authorize 5 devices. I just bought a new PC and wanted to authorize it in iTunes. It is telling me I already have 5..but the list of devices showing is NOT 5. So where is the list it is using...I think I have an iPad, PC, Touch, Classic registered and simply want to add my other PC. The touch, classic are NOT showing up but do sync.
Thoughts?
Thanks so much. That makes sense but want to be sure before I do next step. It seems like I should just deauthorize all then go back in one by one and re-authorize. Just want to make sure before I do this and lose all access and for some reason cannot get them back. Just trying to be cautious.
Yep, deauthorize all, then reauthorize as needed. Nothing will be lost, but you cannot play or transfer protected media if your computer isn't authorized.
