Airpods Popping in ears?

I’ve had my airpods (gen 2) for less than a month, and lately they have been making “popping” noises in my ears. It’s not a static or a crackling, but like the pressure of something is exploding in my ears and that they’re gonna break. It’s quite loud. Is this normal? How do I fix this?
