Email from apple support

Hello.

I received today an email from applesupport it says about my Apple Id and if I dont unlock it, apple will lock my account in 24 hours. It requires my personal detail and my card details. I did not finish the process and did not write my info. Is this true or a fraud? Help pls

It's a scam Apple will NEVER threaten to lock your account, you'll just find out when you try to login.

In a message Apple will always address you by your real name, never by your email address or Dear Customer. Also the sent-from address should be @apple.com or @itunes.com Additionally Apple does not send attachments.

Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support

Forward it as an attachment to reportphishing@apple.com

Did you provide any potentially damaging information to anyone? If yes, you'll need to follow up, for example, with a credit card company, Apple, Social Security, your bank, etc.
