Wrong Location of Callers

My IPhone XR will no longer display the locations of phone calls that I receive. Calls from my work, located in Saskatchewan, Canada, say that they are from the US. Any numbers in my contacts are fine, but any numbers not in my contacts are all saying United States. I have already reset my network settings. Any suggestions?

Call banner showing calls from Puerto Rico even though I don't have any contacts from there I've noticed especially in the morning if I get an incoming call from someone outside of my contacts the banner shows the number and the location coming from Puerto Rico but then when I look in my recent call log it shows the call is from my local area. Even though the calls from Puerto Rico don't have an area code from PR. The calls are coming from my local area code in the DC metro. Today I got a call from a different area code and again it said it was coming from PR even though the area code from SC and was from someone I was expecting a call from. I've tried to restart my phone so we'll see if that fixes the issue based on a previous post with a similar issue.

All incoming calls display same CID # and location For the last month, every incoming call I receive on my iPhone 8 shows the same phone number/location (Wisconsin) on caller ID. My recent calls never show the number though. This makes it appear every incoming call is spam; I answer only if I’m expecting a call. I’ve tried rebooting multiple times and the problem never improved and certainly didn’t resolve. And yes, I know it’s an older model device but it worked just fine until now. The Apple store and my carrier were equally unhelpful as both pointed the finger at the other. I don’t care who’s at fault; I just want it fixed so don’t have to play a cell phone version Russian roulette.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I understand you have some questions/concerns about the location shown for incoming calls.

Location information for incoming calls isn't a setting or feature controlled on your end. This could be related to a carrier setting, or an issue on the callers side as well.
