Force Restart during Initial Setup Process?

Hello,

Is it possible to reset the iPhone’s setup while in the middle of it?

I reset my phone completely and began the initial setup process (with Language selection, etc). When prompted to, I used another device to carry over settings from- this was a mistake, I didn’t want that to happen. Is there some way to go back and undo my setup/do it over from the very beginning again? I’m not able to ‘force reset’ by holding Home and Power buttons, nor can I reset the device from this stage using iTunes.

To clarify, I would like to be able to restart the setup process from the very beginning, as if I had just performed the factory reset without setting carried over from a device synced during setup. Does anyone know of a solution?

Many thanks!

If you force restart the device that should allow you to stop the set up process. Why aren’t you able to force restart?

Another option would be to let the set up finish and then just erase the phone again in the settings and start all over again.
