Screen recording issues iPhone 11 pro max

When I use screen recording with microphone on when watching a YouTube video, the volume goes down significantly even with the volume all the way up and switches and turns off the bottom speaker (bottom speaker of IPhone 11 pro Max) to the ear speaker (top speaker) front of the phone and then I can barely hear the sound. For an example: (it’s like making a phone call you can barley hear and you when you try to turn the speaker phone part on it doesn’t work.) Is this a bug fix, Apple please help

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 13

ELPPA5,

If this only happens with the YouTube or specific apps, try removing and reinstalling those apps: Remove apps from iPhone

After those steps, the best thing to do is reach out to the developers of the app: YouTube

If it is happening with more apps or system apps, try to remove the software on the iPhone and add it back:

    1. Back up your iPhone: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
    2. Restore the iPhone to factory settings using a computer. Be sure to have any passwords available that you might need, including your Wi-Fi or Apple ID password: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
    3. Set up the iPhone as new to test if the behavior still happens.

If it does happen when set up as new, reach out to the Apple Support team: Contact Apple Support

If it doesn't, try restoring your backup to see if it happens again: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

Take care.

Hello ELPPA5,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand that value is lower during screen recording and will do what I can to help.

The app might not allow you to record audio or controls the audio. Try other apps to see if the same thing happens: How to record the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Restart the iPhone and try recording again: Restart your iPhone

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
