match color

The match color and balance color commands are grayed out under the modify area, the magic wand, and does not come up with option- command-M in my Final Cut Pro X software. I’m sure I’m on the latest version. Do I have to activate these features somehow? Thanks

Color Balance in FCPx - Colorboard / Color Wheels What do you guys use to get the balance right ? I am now grading my stuff in FCPx and coming from Photoshop and Lightroom this is a bit of a change. I get different results using the color wheels as opposed to using the Color Board. I kind of find the Color Board more accurate while the Color Wheels are more intuitive but I am uncertain. In Lightroom and adobe camera RAW I basically adjust the Temperature and Tint sliders and I'm good to go but in FCPx I am not being that lucky. I am getting a little help from these guys. First allows me to sample a pixel and check its color which is nice for monitoring grays and whites. Colour Wheel not appearing Final Cut Pro X The Colour wheel option is not appearing in Final Cut Pro X v.10.5.1. Instead I get a +(null) option. Already tried to look for solutions (uninstalling Chrome and reinstalling Final Cut) but problem wasn't solved. Any tips? Thanks a lot

Chromakey in final cut pro x giving me grief. This is driving me crazy. I know it works in imovie, and i think i used to do this in fcpx, but when i try to chromakey now I can't get the colors to work. The background pic should be white in the edges and I look so bad too. Is there a setting I'm doing wrong? I know i'm in a new place using the green screen that's not lit or anything, but i still think i should get something close to satisfactory results?

Do you have the clip selected in the project? Post a screenshot of what you’re setting.
