I’m having trouble with my iPhone 6s storage. The System and “other” take up more than 10GB; my storage is 16. So just the System takes more than half my storage! I deleted as much as I could.
Storage says full and I’m worried I’m gonna lose my pics and other stuff I have. I also purchased additional iCloud which has plenty of storage.
So how can I get more storage on the phone?

Restore your iPhone.
Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
Then accept the recommendations offered at Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
As I said above:
”Restore your iPhone.”
You don't.
You can try to backup your data onto your computer with iTunes / or to iCloud, then perform a factory reset and after that restore your phone from backup. See if that restores space.

With all due respect but at this point may I have a supervisor reply to me who perhaps can take the time to explain a little bit and maybe just maybe help me! If you look at the pics attached you will see that system and “other” takes more than half the storage of the phone!
That didn’t help! I cannot afford a new phone now! Do you have any suggestions ?

Atleast try to help. A Factory Reset could fix this.
