Storage requirement is a personal choice depending upon the usage.

If you are akin to clicking photos and selfies then no storage is enough. My experience says 64GB with 200GB of iCloud Storage with optimised storage enabled is good enough for old timers like me.

With Optimize Storage, smaller, space-saving photos and videos are kept on your device while all of your original, full-resolution versions are stored in iCloud. And as long as you have enough space in iCloud, you can store as many photos and videos as you want.

Hi,

You know very well that there is no good answer for that question ;-).

However I'll try to give you my experience view here:

  • if You do a lot of photos and/or videos - if yes more is better
  • if You have a lot of Apps or Games which you want to have at the same time on device it could exceed your memory needs as well
  • if You watching lot of videos/series and so You download them for offline watching than it will also demand quite some space.

I would say that quite usually more is better because we are usually quite a collector spices. Of course if You consider less space its still quite some storage and it will not impact in any ways Your user experience of having iPhone.

Choice is yours

Simon
