Activation lock

So I have bought an iPad from someone off Facebook and forgot my password. The next time I turned it on, Activation Lock came on. And is connected to someone else’s Apple ID

Ask the person you bought it from to remove the lock or give you a refund. If the Apple ID it's asking for isn't theirs, it's likely lost or stolen.
