My watch shows the error message "Too many passcodes attempts" and tells me to reset the watch. I had just gotten a new phone and the watch hadn't been paired to it yet. I have tried both hard and soft resets, but nothing seems to work. Does anybody have any advice?

Thank you! I appreciate your response. I followed the steps in the first article, but the watch does not respond when I tap the power off button.
Make sure you are holding, not tapping the button.
I would recommend trying the second method in that support article using your iPhone to do it if that is an option for you.
