Submitting old device for apple credit

Hello.

I am trying to buy a new iPhone and was trying to trade in an old apple device for store credit (so I could get a better price on the phone). After I filled out the information, it only gave me the option to receive a gift card in the mail, not to receive store credit.

I cannot wait 3+ weeks to get the gift card before ordering my phone. Is there any way that I can cancel the request for a gift card and receive store credit instead? My iPhone 8Plus crashed and I am desperately in need of a new phone.
