Family sharing and Pro Version of apps

My wife bought Filmmaker Pro for her iPad/iPhone... We have family sharing turned on and I can see the app in her "purchased" list... but when I open the app on my iPad after downloading, the version isn't the pro version, and when I click on the "Pro" button, it gives me the option to subscribe or buy... and on the bottom it says "Already purchased?" but when I click on it, nothing happens... I know on some apps you have to click on the "buy" button to activate the Family-purchased app (it tells you that it has already been purchased) but I don't want to click on this one and have it charge me another $70 if it isn't supposed to... I just need someone to ease my mind that I'm not going to get double-charged for this app..

Thx

Hello Darcsyde2000,

Thanks for posting. Family Sharing is a great function, and I understand you have a question about using with the pro version of an app. I'm happy to share some information.

I checked the listing for this app and see the "All Access One-Time Purchase" listed under the In-App Purchases section. In this case, the content is not shareable in Family Sharing since the upgrade considered an in-app purchase. While you can share a lot of content, it is not possible to share in-app purchases. You can use this link to learn more about the types of content you can share: What types of content can I share with my family using purchase sharing?

I hope I've answered your question. Take care.
