Is the apple pen 1st generation compatible with the iPad Air model A1475?

No.

That iPad model was introduced in 2013.

Apple Pencil compatible iPads did not come onto the market until late Fall of 2015.

Sorry.

You will need to seek out alternative, third party stylii for your older iPad Air.
