Burning Blu-Ray Disks on a Mac?

How do I burn Blu-Ray Disks on a Mac?

Which software and what versions are best for burring Blu-Ray Disks a Mac?

I read that Roxio Toast will do for Macs: See Here. Any other software versions that will work? Firsthand experience will be great for feedback.

On my Macs I've only ever been able to use a Windows XP Virtual Machine on it burn Blue-Ray Disks on my MacBook Pro. Buffalo is the brand name of the drive - and the software I use.

MacBook Pro 15”, macOS 10.15

The only one I know of is Roxio Toast; I've used it for years when I was much more into shooting, editing, and burning videos. I no longer have a current version with the blu-day plug in since there is no longer a need, but when I did use it, it worked fine. The app is also great for burning anything, copying from one CD/DVD to another (unless it has DRM or copyright protection).

FWIW, Macs have never supported blu-ray because that is owned by Sony and those two companies have not always seen eye to eye, so Sony would not license it to Apple (that is what I read some time ago).

Thank you kindly babowa for the input!

I most certainly look forward to trying out that Roxio version, and make sure it is compatible with the macs I own.
