Help removing a defunct keyboard shortcut artefact please

Hello. I am having trouble deleting a keyboard shortcut for text entry. It has migrated across from my old device as part of a time machine restore on a new machine. The shortcut is deleted from Settings but still occurs when entering the free text on any software platform, often causing them to crash. Does anyone know where this shortcut is likely to be stored and how I can find and remove it? Many thanks
