Workout not recognised
After updating my new Apple Watch last night, the outdoor walk I’ve just done has recorded on my phone but not counted towards my exercise ring, and has not been made available to import to Strava.

I see you have a concern about an outdoor walk not being counted as Exercise.
Get the most accurate measurements using your Apple Watch - Apple Support
Keep in mind that in order for an Outdoor Walk workout to register exercise minutes, the wearer of the Apple Watch must be walking fairly briskly with their heart rate at about 75% of maximum. Otherwise, it will count towards Move calories but not as Exercise minutes.
If this is a workout you had done with this Apple Watch prior to the update and it did register Exercise minutes, first reboot both the Watch and the paired iPhone. Next, if the credit still does not register correctly, consider unpairing the two and then pairing them anew.
