Use 24-inch early 2009 iMac with Mac Mini
Is it possible to use my old iMac (24-inch, early 2009) with Mac Mini? I would rather keep my old screen, keyboard, etc than buy a new one...

While it sounds like a fantastic idea, it is not for various reasons.
My best advise, is to get a decent display, keyboard and mouse to use with the Mac Mini, then repurpose, sell or recycle the 2009 iMac.
Early 2009 iMacs do not support Target Display Mode, period
and there is no way to use them as a display. I have one and I know
for a fact that it can't be done.
Good catch woodmeister50. I must have completely blanked out on the 24" Early 2009 part of the question.
