Problem setting up Face ID - iPhone 11

Recently my Face ID suddenly stopped working out of nowhere on my iPhone 11, and when I deleted it and tried to set up a new one, it struggles with finding my face. It says "put your face in the center of the frame" and when I do, it just says "move iPhone downwards a bit". When I move the camera down too far, it asks me to place my face back inside the frame again, then once again asks me to move my iPhone downwards. I've tried everything that I could think of. The iPhone is just four months old and I had no problem setting up my Face ID when I first installed it.
