Random Files

I keep seeing these files on my laptop with obscure and long names containing a bunch of letters and numbers (ex: 821a62dd28c22357bb51438c1d90d73430e3e942 ). When I open them it's usually just a bunch of code but I don't know what it means. I am suddenly finding them everywhere in my files, is it okay to delete them? Sometimes they open up into Google Chrome as well, which I hardly ever use anymore.

These are temporary files generated to manage cached unsaved documents. They should go away when you quit all open programs.
