blue question mark instead of picture

While doing assignments, I often am experiencing blue question marks instead of pictures that are supposed to be inserted. How do I fix this?

Some Other Thoughts:

  • Create a New Administrator User: (Go To: System Settings > Users & Groups > "+" button > Add an administrator user). Then, log out of this account, and then log into that user. See if this still occurs. If not, then transfer items over (documents and images), and then Trash this user. All apps will be accessible to the new user. You should be good from there.

  • Boot into Safe Mode: In Safe Mode, items only open as they would by default, meaning all preferences are set aside. While in Safe Mode, clear the Temporary Internet Files, and then try this site once more.

Any Security Software Installed?

If you have Security Software installed on your Mac, then uninstall it. Only get the uninstaller from the Developer. Getting it elsewhere, you may end up with malware installed. The software is blocking this out based on Privacy settings. Security Software just gets in the way on a may. This is a pure example of how, and why they not needed on Macs.

Web site Server Issues:

Too much traffic may be going on. So, items may not be syncing at the moment.

Try Clearing Your Temporary Internet Files: History and Cache

Web site Server Issues:

If clearing those does not work, I would say there is just too much network traffic at the moment for their eraser to handle.

That would likely be so, as many, many students are taking classes out-of-the-house, being they cannot attend them locally at school.

Or, they might be updating their servers.

So, I would contact your peers or the professor/teacher and see if they are having similar problems.
