LaunchPort

I have an iPad Pro 9.7" that I use only for security cameras, it is docked on a hardwired LaunchPort wall station. It has started to act up, cameras jumping, it appears I am touching the screen when I am not and feels warm to the touch. Has anyone experienced this when using a LaunchPort?
