Why is Apple charging me for cancelled subscriptions?!

Today I received notification from my bank that Apple charged my card $60.00 for a subscription I’d cancelled well before the renewal date. This is not the first charge I’ve had to dispute due to charges for cancelled subscriptions.

We’re other users and not folks from Apple, so we have no view into your Apple ID accounts and any charges.

Check whether this is an actual mail message from Apple, or one of the many scam messages being distributed.

Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support

Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

See or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

If this is a legitimate mail message from Apple and not a scam and not something you should have been charged for, then contact iTunes Billing and Subscriptions for assistance. (Again, we’re not Apple, so we can’t do that for you.)
