Use of SketchUp and Enscape

I have been teaching SketchUp from my Mac Pro since Covid 19 forced us away from our University lab. Things are getting kind of bogged down perhaps because I have too much open at once. I would like to introduce Enscape two days from now but looks like I need to download Bootcamp and Windows first. How complicated is that and how much time will I need? Having never used Enscape, is it worth it?
