Song shared via Text
i shared a song with someone via text from my iTunes and when I checked the message sent, the song shows up with a red play button. Does this mean the receiver has listened to it?

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. If I'm understanding correctly, you sent a song from iTunes using the Messages app and would like to know if the red play button displayed next to the song indicates that the recipient has listened to the song. I will be glad to assist. The red play button does not indicate that the song has been listened to, but instead gives you the option to play the song. There is no way of knowing if the recipient has actually listened to the song.
