Hi! Recently i bought a second hand imac 21’ 2013 and i made a upgrade to an ssd. Everything was fine till i want to instal the Os. I didn’t make a copy to my old os. I just plug my ssd to Mac and now is asking me for a firmware password.

Did you purchase the system second hand?
Have you formatted the new SSD prior to installing the OS using disk utility and selecting Journaled as an option?
