Apple store says review and won’t let me download anything

I need to updates pages, numbers keynote which is free available. I have created apple id when i use it appstore it says your apple id is not being used in app store, kindly review your account info. and then it does not lead to anything.

what does it mean to review information?

Log into your account in the App Store/iTunes and you should be able to change/verify it there. Or you can click the blue Edit payment methods in the article below. When signed in and the page loads, you will be on the credit card page. After updating that, click the Go Back button at the lower left and you will be on the address page.

Apple ID payment information - change.  

Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes store. Please review your account information

Could this be your problem? If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203005 or maybe
