Iphone SE 2020 - Bluetooth not working

Bluetooth isnt working on a new Iphone SE 2020. No bluetooth devices appear.

Gone through the Bluetooth trouble shooting guide on the apple site.

Battery/power on all bluetooth devices charged/checked with other phones.

Told all other phones to forget all the bluetooth devices.

Network setting reset, full erase-restore etc...

This phone went back after going through more trouble shooting over the phone and was exchanged for a replacement. We set up the second phone from scratch to avoid anything being transferred from the old phone.

Now this replacement does the exact same thing.

No bluetooth devices show up.

All Bluetooth devices have a pairing mode.

If you do not put your headphones, speakers or car system into pairing mode, they will not broadcast their availability and won't pair.

Consult the user manuals for how to pair each device.

Yep, just tested. The SE shows up and can be connected to my Mac laptop.

Then back through the bluetooth audio devices and still none of them shows in the bluetooth panel...only the Mac shows.

Are you putting the device your are trying to pair to into pairing mode?

To add, have been playing around and I can detect my laptop but nothing else. Which is the complete opposite of my old iphone which never detected my laptop!

I wonder if this is a coincidence?

Thanks for getting back

The headphones and speakers don’t have a pairing mode. The jbl has a ‘discover’ button.

The ford Sony sync stereo does use the digit paring code.

All other the phones are picking up all the devices without any issues including testing network settings.

Thanks for getting back.

Just to clarify ALL devices are discoverable by all other phones. All devices connect perfectly to other phones after completely resetting the network settings. One by one forget-connect testing.

Just to clarify all Bluetooth devices have been checked using 2 other phones and are working perfectly, including resetting all network settings and then reconnecting.
