I've changed my keyboard several times before but this time can't find the place to do that, 'Change Keyboard Type' doesn't appear in Keyboard in System Preferences. Mac upgraded my system to 10.15 recently, otherwise there are no other changes. Any idea how to do this?

Thanks for clarifying that your keyboard is not being recognized at all. "Mac doesn't recognize keyboard" would be a good title if you start a new discussion.
Could you also provide the make and model of the keyboard? And info about your computer too? Is it an iMac? See if this page helps:

I gave you a link with some info about that. I could probably be more helpful if you would explain just what there is that needs to be "set up"? What exactly is not working right when you just connect it without doing anything else?
I looked at the link but there was nothing about this. There was a place as it says here: https://support.apple.com/en-nz/guide/mac-help/mchlp2886/mac in System Preferences, Keyboard, to set up a different keyboard but it is no longer there. The only thing I've changed is the system to 10.15. I don't know what more I can tell you.

I was just wondering if you are having a specific problem regarding the output of certain keys not matching what is printed on them. Wrong keyboard type is only one possible cause of that.
So you don't know how to set up a different keyboard as it used to be for Mac in System Preferences?

You could tell me exactly which keys on your keyboard do not work as they are supposed to.
Nothing works, of course, my computer is connected to my other keyboard, the one I'm using now.
