How do I stop auto- fade in Garageband and Logic Pro X

Hello! I am new to recording, but every time I try to record from any instrument, the first measure will be perfect, then after that it's almost as though the application is fading to a much lower volume automatically. How do I fix this??

You may also want to check the Master Track. If a fade-out is applied to the volume automation of the master track, it will apply to all tracks.

  • Go to the menu "Track" and enable "Show Master Track". Then select. the Master Track and delete the Automations on the Master track from the Mix Menu:

Disable "Create Volume Fade Out on Main Output" , if this should have been enabled.
