On-screen volume control for playing MP3 sound file

At http://www.futurebeacon.com/JA3.htm I have this code for playing JA3.mp3 :

<p>Your browser doesn't support HTML5 audio.</p>

</audio>

In Firefox it works fine and has an on-screen volume control. In Safari, there is no on-screen volume control for visitors to use. How can I assure that there will be an on-screen volume control for the visitors to this page?

Jim, looks like a separate Volume control is needed in Safari, Sys Prefs>Sound>Show Volume in Menu bar.

Thank you for this reply.

I could not find that any of the instructions were for getting an on-screen volume control that the website visitor would see and could use to adjust the volume for himself or herself.

I hope this can be done with Safari.

It is an mp3 file I wish to give an on-line volume control for visitors to https://www.futurebeacon.com/JA3.htm

and there is such a volume control in Firefox but not in Safari using this code on the web page:

I do not want to set the volume to something of my choosing in this page for all visitors.

Perhaps I have missed the method or code modification that would provide this on-screen MP3 volume control in Safari that exists automatically in Firefox.

I have tried several forums but nobody knows how to make Safari show a volume control on my html5 page for my mp3 sound file. There has been no reply for quite some time here.

I saw Safari do this with a virtically oriented volume bar once. It must be possible.

Is there a source that tells of all the possible audio controls in html5?

Please don't confuse the matter with video.
