No headphone jack or compatible adapter for iPad 2020

I bought my iPad Pro 2020 thinking I could use an adapter in order to charge the device and use a pair of headphones with a mic. The adapter I used, a Satechi product, did not support the mic on my headphones as the product stated, and the Apple usb-c to 3.5 mil headphone jack adapter does not fulfill the charging requirement. In addition, it turns out my iPad doesn’t recognize that I have headphones plugged in using the Apple adapter anyways. To solve the issue that Apple did not include a headphone jack or offer a product that allows charging in addition to a headphone jack, I am looking for a 3rd party adapter that fits these requirements. It is frustrating that this issue was seemingly overlooked, or possibly it was designed to force people into buying AirPods. Any recommendations for an adapter that works for this issue?
