First Aid is Gray for my Volume

Ok so my computer has been restarting by itself and a flashing file with a question mark shows up. So I tried doing the recovery like instructed but when I clicked on the grayed out volume in disk utility the first aid is grayed out too? Also please respond in English that I, someone who knows nothing about computers, can understand please!!!

Boot into Recovery (Command R) and from the dropdown menu: Utilities>  Disk Utility> run the First Aid on your Macintosh HD (and the "Macintosh HD-Data" volume as well if Catalina) If errors are found and repaired, run again until no errors reported.

If you can not mount the drive or not being recognized in Disk Utility—then the drive has failed.
