I observe on my contacts list (which is on iCloud also) that some contact names are listed twice, with exactly the same phone numbers, emails, etc. When I try to erase the dublicate sometimes erases both two, thus I loose the contact and sometimes erases only the one I delete ? Will somebody explain to me why that happens ?

Then that's where your problem is.
The contacts are exported then imported back again creating double.
Try switch off all other contacts from Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, etc...
In my opinion the problem is that, if you're already syncing your contacts to Gmail or Outlook or whatever else, you can not sync them to your iCloud too.
You need to use only one method (and stop the other one).

If you check them using a browser on a computer and opening iCloud.com, are they duplicated?

I checked on iCloud and they also exist there some duplicates which are 100% identical in terms of content. When i delete one of the two, they both disappear (unfortunately) with result missing my contact !!!
Do you also use Google Mail/Contacts, Hotmail, Yahoo or Outlook?
