GarageBand on MacBook Air

Why can't I move the audio files on GarageBand?

When I drag them they shift back to where they were and they have a little lock symbol on them.

I'm a teacher and I need to figure this out ASAP. PLEASE HELP!

Garageband shows "audio file not found" for pasted clips after re-opening saved file When I move a clip to a Garageband file, then edit and save - it's all fine. But when re-opening that file, either immediately or a little later, one or more of the pasted audio files give 'file missing' error. Even if the file has opened successfully several times since they were pasted in. This is a new problem since the OS Venture Upgrade (It seems) but perhaps there was a Garageband update too that instigated it. This obviously sucks because all of a sudden key files are gone and project needs to be recreated. Any Ideas?

GarageBand autosave location Hey guys so GarageBand was force closed on me. Before I closed I was able to bounce the audio m4a. The problem I’m having is when I now try to open the project, the audio files are not uploading, preventing me from further working on and mixing the song. All of the audio files are in the file contents, but it is over 180 of them. Will I have to re-upload each file and try to manually place them with the instrumental or is there a way to actually locate the “autosave” file of the project that GarageBand creates? Is there a folder anywhere on the Mac where this may be located?

The new GarageBand 10.4.1. doesn't import from Music I downloaded the new GarageBand 10.4.1. For my disappoint the button that was there before to see the files in Music and Videos where I used to track to do my DJ job, simply disappear. I try to reinstall the GarageBand again to see if I could get the old version but it seams impossible. One mor deception with this new Mac system!!! Can anyone help me? Thanks Célio de Carvalho
