My wife and I have iPhone 8s. They stopped charging on our wireless charger. They charge fine with the lightning cable. My daughter's iPhone 10 charges fine on the wireless charger.

Do you have cases on the 8s? If yes, try it without the case.
Don't know what to tell you, if is possible both charging coils failed but remote. Did you also force restart both of them?
Tried it and did not help. My phone and my wife's are the same age.Tried my daughter's iPhone 10 and the wireless charger worked fine! Her phone is several months newer! Aging of the phone? Still charges with the lightning cable.
