In settings when I try to turn on myAutomatic downloads automatic updates and possibly shut off the password for free apps, it pops up and it says this device is associated with a different Apple ID. And then it shuts the settings back off
Thank you. That can happen if you purchased/downloaded apps using a different Apple ID in the past. If so, you'll need to download/purchase them again under your current Apple ID
How can you tell it a compromised Apple ID? What options is the Apple ID you are seeing preventing you from using? Please explain your circumstances more completely.
