MacBook keeps hanging

i keep getting a popup that says 'this process is completed. to finish, press okay.' it has a safari logo on it. whenever this shows up, my desktop hangs and i have to restart the laptop.

I tried deleting an extension on my safari but it doesn't delete. its chill tab 3.0. I suspect this could be causing the problem. I tried deleting all source files but that doesn't help either.

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.15

If you boot into the Safe Mode, can you disable/delete the Safari extension?
