I've been having this problem on iPhone 11 Pro--I enter a date, person for appt, and time, and hit the plus + sign and nothing happens. Appt. doesn't register on the date!! Help
Under the keyboard shown above is the specific calendar being used (see below). When you’re at the main Calendar screen, if you tap “Calendars” in the bottom center, is this the appropriate calendar?

This sounds like an impossible sequence.
First you would hit the plus sign. Then you would describe the appointment. Finally, when no plus sign is even visible, you would click “Add”.
I didn't describe that well--being frustrated does that. Anyway, yes, I hit the add word in the corner at the end, not the plus sign. So the same result occurs--no appt. made. Doesn't show up at all!
