Syncing my Apple Music and iPad

I purchased Apple Music today and it told me to sync my libraries my iPad and iPhone I got it to sync on my iPad but not my iPhone and I’ve turned on sync libraries in my setting and it’ll just turn its self back off

Based on what you've described as going on, I'd suggest going through the following steps, testing between each:


  1. Force close any open apps: How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support, then restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support.
  2. Check for, then install, any available iOS updates for your iPhone: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.
  3. Backup your iPhone: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support then reinstall the iOS software using the "Reinstall iOS or iPadOS" section of If you see the Restore screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.
