My 4th generation iPad Pro is stuck on a picture in facebook. Pushing the volume up then down and top buttons or the top button and side volume buttons simultaneously will not shut the device off. As the Facebook App is not an Apple product, you would likely find the Facebook support team and associated forums to be a better source of information and support.
