Resound hearing aids and Apple watch

I cannot figure out how to pair the hearing aids and Apple Watch (4) so i can listen to music without having my phone in hand. I tap the music on my watch, and it says to connect to a device. When i try, the watch will not discover anything, It just spins. Bluetooth is on. I’ve tried it with the WiFi on and without. I’ve also Erased and rebooted the watch. It’s driving me nuts. What am i doing wrong?
