If you really have an Apple TV (1st generation), a 7.7" white/aluminum box, then that wouldn’t be much use:
- The product is classified as obsolete for hardware support and software development.
- The Apple TV (1st generation) has no third party services.
- The Apple TV (1st generation) will not sync anymore to iTunes application newer than v12.6.2.
- The Apple TV (1st generation) will not connect to the iTunes Store anymore, and will not play titles that require authentication.
To connect any model Apple TV, you will need an HDMI cable to connect to the TV, and either ethernet or Wi-Fi (user choice) for home network and internet connectivity.
