30" or over Display options.

Can someone recommend a 30" or larger display that pairs easily w/ the Thunderbolt 2 ports on my late 2013 13"MacBook Pro? It can be a new model or something that I can find used. Just want larger w/ taking advantage as much as possible of the Macbook's 2560x1660 capability. Thanks

DisplayPort family displays (or Thunderbolt or USB-C which are closely related) use a modern "packet" interface to display only changes to a display that has a Screen buffer built in. There is no "heartbeat refresh" (the sending of the screen data, changed or not, every refresh interval, like 60 times a second. These screens and the computers can attain higher resolutions and often run cooler.

As the number of pixels on screen increases, older technology "heartbeat-refresh" displays that use HDMI, DVI, or Analog VGA may struggle to repaint the screen that fast and may fall back to 30-Hz screen re-draw.
