carplay - missing the keyboard
When I connect my iPhone (11 Pro / IOS 13.4.1) via CARPLAY within my Skoda Karooq, I can’t type any text
to search, there is no keyboard option.

I am saying that is how you do a search in navigation or whatever you use Siri to enter the information vocally.
I don't use Waze and on my car there is no virtual keyboard for entering addresses, you dictate them with Siri.
Probably stating the obvious here but, is you phone up to date with the iOs and is the Waze app up to date. Maybe remove the Waze app and re-install. Try turning off and on again your phone as well
Does your car have touch screen? (some like Audi have a control knob)
OK, i've checked and when you open Waze in the car you should have a keyboard icon in the top right hand corner. I cannot find a way to stop that showing so, sorry but i can't offer anything more. Except maybe check your Waze account, delete and re-enter.

I’m not using Siri, I want to use the navigation app by entering text as I’m doing in my iPhone.
Is it Apple maps or a third party app you want to use for navigation?

it supposed to have a virtual keyboard but there isn’t that’s the issue that I’m facing.
OK i will go and check on my wife car as she has touch screen and uses Waze.
